1. About Aurra
Aurra is a WhatsApp-based AI payment assistant that enables users to send money to Nigerian bank accounts, purchase airtime, and buy mobile data — all through natural conversation on WhatsApp.
Aurra is not a bank or licensed deposit-taking entity. Payments are processed through licensed partners, including Anchor (CBN-licensed). We do not hold your money.
2. Eligibility
To use Aurra, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of Nigeria or hold a valid Nigerian bank account
- Own or have authorisation to use the WhatsApp number you register with
- Provide a valid National Identification Number (NIN) for identity verification as required by CBN KYC regulations
- Provide accurate, truthful registration information
3. Account Registration and Security
Creating an account: You must provide your real name, a valid Nigerian WhatsApp number, a valid National Identification Number (NIN), and create a 4-digit PIN. Your NIN is shared with Anchor (CBN-licensed) for identity verification and virtual account provisioning.
Virtual account: Upon successful registration, you are issued a personal virtual bank account number provided by Anchor. This account receives bank transfers that fund your Aurra wallet.
KYC tiers: Your account starts at Limited KYC tier (NIN verified). You may optionally upgrade to Maximum KYC tier by providing your BVN, which unlocks higher transaction limits and additional features.
Your PIN is your responsibility: Your PIN authorises every transaction. Do not share it with anyone — including Aurra support staff. We will never ask for your PIN via any channel.
Account security: You are responsible for all activity on your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at admin@aurra.online.
Lockout policy: Three consecutive incorrect PIN entries will lock your account for 30 minutes. This is a security feature we cannot override on demand.
One account per person: You may only hold one Aurra account. Creating multiple accounts is grounds for immediate termination.
4. Funding Your Wallet
Via virtual account (free): You can fund your Aurra wallet by transferring money from any Nigerian bank to your personal virtual account number provided by Anchor. Transfers are processed within minutes and credited to your wallet automatically.
Deposit fee: A 0.7% fee applies to deposits, capped at ₦700. Your first deposit up to ₦10,000 is free.
5. Transactions
Wallet balance: Transactions are executed from your Aurra wallet balance. You fund your wallet via your virtual account (bank transfer).
Authorisation: Every transaction requires your 4-digit PIN. By entering your PIN, you irrevocably authorise the transaction.
Double confirmation: Before asking for your PIN, Aurra will always show you the full transaction details (recipient, amount, fee, total). You must reply YES before being asked for your PIN.
Transaction limits: A daily transaction limit of ₦500,000 applies (higher limits available with Maximum KYC tier). We reserve the right to adjust limits for security reasons.
Fees:
- Deposits via virtual account: 0.7% (capped at ₦700). No minimum.
- Wallet transfers (below ₦10,000): ₦40 flat fee
- Wallet transfers (₦10,000–₦20,000): ₦50 Aurra fee + ₦50 stamp duty

- Airtime and data purchases: Free (₦0)

Finality: Completed bank transfers cannot be reversed once the recipient's bank confirms receipt. Always double-check recipient details before confirming.
Failed transactions: If your card is charged or your wallet debited but the transaction fails (e.g. bank transfer rejected), you will receive an automatic refund within 15 minutes. Refunds for airtime/data failures are processed within 24 hours.
